The criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah at the TDP Mahanadu clearly indicates that the party is intellectually bankrupt and has nothing positive to say about their four-year rule in the State, BJP MLC P.V.N. Madhav has said.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he said, “Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has made it a point to criticise BJP leaders and IT Minister N. Lokesh has gone to the extent of calling the BJP as the prime enemy. This seems to be their main agenda.”Mr. Madhav criticised the TDP for getting the AU convocation postponed because the authorities invited Rajiv Kumar, Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog, to deliver the convocation address.

On former TTD chief priest Ramana Dikshitulu’s allegations, he questioned, “Why is Mr. Naidu not answering the questions posed by the former priest?”On construction of the capital, he said, “Mr. Naidu should learn from Gujarat on how it is building Dholera city. Gujarat has already attracted an investment close to 10,000 crore.”

‘No action on SIT report’

Mr. Madhav alleged that the TDP leaders had grabbed lands in Visakhapatnam in collusion with the revenue officials. The SIT that went into the issue had filed its final report three months ago, but no action had been taken so far. The report too was not made public, he said.
