Govt Teacher Committed Suicide,Died

A 30-years-old government school teacher from Kurnool,committed suicide after hanging at her grandparent’s house in Maddikera village on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Vanitha (30) and a resident of Gooty. The Sub Inspector of Maddikera police station E Maruthi said that the woman was working as a school assistant in Dondapadu village in Gooty of Anantapur district.

She came to her grandparent’s house in Maddikera. No one is living at the house as her grand-parents had died long ago. Recalling the affection shown by her grandparents on her she decided to end her life. In a state of depression, she hanged to the ceiling after leaving a suicidal note. The note read that no one is responsible for her death, said the officer.

The Sub Inspector further said that the deceased also left a similar note at her parent’s house in Gooty stating that she did not want to live any further and is going to end her life. The parents immediately called their relatives at Maddikera and informed about her decision. Before the relatives could reach the house, she ended her life. ``We went to the spot and sent the body for autopsy at Pathikonda hospital,’’ the SI said.He said the deceased was unmarried and was known to be a government teacher teaching maths and science subjects. However, we have filed a case and took up investigation, the SI added.
