Mahanati Movie has been running successfully in theatres since its release on 9 May. The movie team is celebrating its success on getting overwhelming response and unexpected records. AP CM Chandrababu has responded over Mahanati movie and appreciated the entire team for their excellence in making the movie a somber classic. Chandrababu has felicitated the makers, the director and the important cast & crew of the movie along with Mahanati Savitri's daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari and also honoured them with mementoes. AP Mahila Commission Chairperson, Nannapaneni Rajakumari also participated in the event.
