Woman Killed Her Mother-in- law,Arrested

The cops of Ongole arrested a woman for killing her mother in law  on Sunday. The police said that the woman did the crime with a doubt that her mother in law is registering the properties to her daughter.According to B Srinivasa Rao, DSP of Ongole, Goutam Jayalakshmi, aged 55years is living next the family of her son Anjaneyulu at Marrichetla colony in Ongole. The husband of Jayalakshmi died about 3 months ago. 

Since then, her daughter in law Sampurna is suspecting that Jayalakshmi is writing all of the properties to her daughter and used to venture into argument with her. On April 5, in the verge of heated argument, Sampurna kicked her mother in law, who fell on ground after dashing to the wall. 

With the fear that her mother in law will tell about the fight and her attack with her husband, she pressed the neck of the old lady. After killing her, she put the dead body on cot and burnt it with the help of petrol. She informed all that her mother in law is not feeling well after the death of her husband and committed suicide.

Sensing the police are suspecting her, Sampurna absconded from the place but they arrested her on Sunday and sent to remand. The DSP appreciated the CI Venkateswarlu, SI NC Prasad and their staff for solving the case.
