Though BJP and the JD(S)-Congress combine staked claim to form the government in Karnataka, Governor Vajubhai Vala has invited BJP to form the next government and accordingly, B.S. Yeddyurappa was made the Chief Minister of the state.
JD(S) State President H.D. Kumaraswamy alleged that the BJP was offering Rs. 100 crore and a Ministerial berth to his MLAs to defect to BJP. Prof Nageshwar, a political analyst reacting over the political scenario in Karnataka has put forwarded some of the points and analysed the same presenting his opinion.
