The former Indian public administrator and the president of Lok Satta party Jaya Prakash Narayan has alleged that Governor's role in the country has been questioned. While participating in a programme of ' India Next' , a national convention on challenges in Union-State Relations in New Delhi, he has alleged that the role played by the nominated State governors is objectionable. Subhash Kashyap, a Political Scientist, an expert in Indian Constitution, Constitutional Law and Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India, has also participated in the event. They have demanded the cancellation of the nominated Governors' posts.
