AP Govt will take final decision on unemployment benefit

AP govt is exercising on implementation of its 2014 election manifesto promise of allotting unemployment benefit to the unemployed degree & PG holders in the state. Govt will take final decision on this in today's cabinet meeting.
Govt has sanctioned Rs 1,500 cr for the purpose and on the other hand a committee under the guidance of Planning committee chairman Kutumba Rao and IT minister Lokesh has worked out on finding the no. of eligible unemployed youth. This will come into force from June 2 or June 8, ahead of 2019 elections.
