TD MLA Vangalapudi Anitha has urged AP CM

TD MLA Vangalapudi Anitha has urged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to withdraw her appointment as  member of Thirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister on Sunday, Anitha stated that she was deeply pained to learn that some groups with vested interests created an unsavoury controversy about her appointment as member TTD.

“I am extremely grateful to you for nominating me as member, TTD. Being a Hindu, I am blessed to have been given an opportunity to serve Lord Venkateswara,” she said. She reiterated that she was a Hindu belonging to a scheduled caste and is a devotee of Lord Venkateswara.  “I have visited Tirumala several times and offered prayers,” she said. She stressed that she did not want create a controversy and embarrass the CM and the government and hence requested the CM to withdraw her appointment as member, TTD.
