TDP-YSRCP Special Focus On Special Status

The demand for Special Category Status (SCS) to the State has generated much political heat in Andhra Pradesh. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who launched a one-day hunger strike in Vijayawada on April 20th on his birthday, is likely to direct his party MPs, MLAs, MLCs and the Ministers to follow certain rules in the best interest of his political tactics.
On the other hand, the main Opposition YSRCP, Jana Sena, Congress and the left parties have also speeded up their protests demanding Special Category Status. The Opposition party chief YS Jagan, who is busy in his padayatra, has also been directing his party leaders to fight for SCS demand with various form of protests.
