Drought Affected Mandals List Declared By Govt

The Government of AP has declared 23 more mandals which are hit by drought. A notification to this effect was issued on Friday. With this the total number of drought-hit mandals has gone up to 121. Among the new mandals included in the list are Mylavaram, Yerraguntla, Kamalapuram, Valluru, Atluru, Siddhavatam, Chakraipet, Galiveedu, Sambepalli, T Sundupalli, Chitvenl, Pullampet, Obulavaripalle and Railway Koduru in Kadapa district and D Hirehal, Yadiki, Uraakonda, Beluguppa, Kalyanadurg, N Pulakunta, Tanakal and Gandlapenta in Anantapur.
