NGOs take out protest rally to demand SCS for AP

  APNGOs Association here on Tuesday took out a massive rally demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh.

It has also demanded that all assurances made in the AP Reorganisation Act-2013 should be implemented immediately. Employees of various departments participated in the rally which caught the attention of everyone in the town.

APNGos State associate president Chowdary Purushottam Naidu, Joint Action Committee of all associations Hanumanthu Sairam and others said government employees had played a keyrole in Samaikyandhra movement and it will be replicated again to highlight the injustice meted out to AP. They alleged that the NDA government had ignored implementation of the Act which was passed four years ago.
