APSRTC gets two national awards

     A.P. State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has bagged two national awards for highest performance in vehicle productivity in Vijayawada city and for achieving highest KMPL in Vijayawada area, said A. Venkateswara Rao, Transport Corporation’s Executive Director (Administration), in a statement.

The Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) recognised APSRTC’s highest performance in vehicle productivity (each RTC vehicle covered 335.95 km in Vijayawada city purview) in 2016-17, at the national level. Similarly, the feat of 3000 vehicles achieved highest KMPL.

A team of APSRTC officials received the award from Union Secretary for Surface Transport Madhu Veer Singh Mallik at a function held in New Delhi.
