Speaker directs all MLAs to attend session

     Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has said he is inviting the MLAs of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), like other members of the House, to attend the ensuing budget session and exercise their right to speak on behalf of the people so that the problems faced by them could be solved.

Speaking to the media after reviewing the arrangements made for the Assembly session beginning on March 5, at Velagapudi on Wednesday, Mr. Rao said the budget would be presented on March 8 and that he expected all the members, including the YSRCP MLAs, to participate in the deliberations.

“The Constitution has given them the right to speak on the floor of the Assembly and the opportunity should be utilised without fail,” he observed.

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan would address a joint session of the Legislature on March 5.
