Dty CM Chinarajappa promises to weed out corruption

Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa, who also holds the Home portfolio, on Tuesday said that those indulging in corruption, including public representatives, would not be spared. He asked ACB personnel to warn corrupt officials and take action if they did not mend their ways.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) office which was constructed at a cost of ?95 lakh here, Mr. Chinarajappa said that ACB court was already sanctioned to Rajamahendravaram and the High Court had to clear the file sent by the State government. He said of the 50 high-tech police stations sanctioned by the government, 20 had been already completed. Reddy Subrahmanyam, Vice-Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, said that the TDP government’s aim is to give corruption-free governance.
