The Praja Sankalpa Yatra of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy crossed a new milestone when he logged 1,300 km by walk at Nandanamarella village in the Kanigiri Assembly constituency on Sunday.

With party activists in tow, the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly planted a sapling to mark the milestone as the yatra resumed from Takaripalem and covered, among other villages, Challagirigella and Yedavalli en route.

Mr. Jagan took a dig at ‘opportunistic’ Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu saying that the latter for ‘political mileage’ had changed stances quite frequently.

After promising the moon to the electorate, he had conveniently forgotten them after coming to power, he said, adding the U-turn on the special category status(SCS) after rooting for special assistance measure(SAM), was among the host of unkept promises by Mr.Naidu with an eye on the next elections.
