K Shanmugam offered prayers at tirumala

Tirumala:  Singapore Minister for Home Affairs K Shanmugam offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Friday morning. On his arrival, the Singapore Minister was accorded grand welcome by the Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju and temple priests. They escorted him to the sanctum sanctorum.

Priests explained to the Singapore Minister about the significance of Lord and the jewels adorned to the presiding deity. The Minister spent few minutes praying before the deity of Lord Venkateswara and later reached Ranganayakula Mandapam where he was accorded Vedaasirvachanam by temple priests. Dy EO Rama Rao, Temple Peishikar Ramesh, OSD Laskhminarayana Yadav, Ramachandra and others were present.
