'Chandranna pellikanuka' to BC Brides From Ap Govt

As a New Year gift, the Andhra Pradesh Government has allocated Rs 300 crore for the Chandranna Pellikanuka for the poor women of the backward classes (BC).
The GO in this regard will be released within few days after the authorities concerned review the guidelines.
According to the reports, a three-step verification will be conducted for the Chandranna Pellikanuka scheme which includes - from the time of the marriage to completion of the marriage and accordingly the money will be transferred to the account of the bride.
The BC Welfare Department will be managing the Chandranna Pelli Kaanuka Online Application website.
